Welcome an early noughties trend that made a major comeback at the Coachella weekend.
Everything Coachella and mostly Beychella shook my feed last past weekend. It was close to impossible to scroll through the gram without fighting off overwhelming feelings of FOMO. From the weather to the weekend line-ups and all the outfit shots, every tiny thing about Coachella looked all too good.
Of all the things that fought for my attention over the past few days, it was chiefly athletic eyewear that did the most to capture it. Sport goggles are a thing and they’re having a major moment in fashion right now! It’s the oversized mirrored ones that seem to frequent my feed more and more, but even the clear squash court kind are doing their rounds.
And then of course, if and when mama Kim Kardashian West is into something, it’s only a matter of time before the whole thing blows up, everywhere. Just swipe through her latest Insta shots and there you’ll see her sporting a pink and purple pair of ski goggles to match her swimsuit, like it’s nothing at all.
