1. Credit and Debit Card Payments
We accept both credit cards and chipped debit/cheque cards from Visa and MasterCard. Our payment system uses the 3D-Secure authentication, which means your payment is securely processed through your bank’s system. Rest assured, your card details remain private and inaccessible to anyone, including Zando and third parties.
What if my card details are not accepted?
If you experience issues, the first step is to check with your bank to ensure everything is in order. If the problem persists, our Customer Loyalty Team is here to help, and we’ll work with our IT team to resolve the issue promptly.
2. Standard Bank UCount Rewards
You can also pay with your UCount Rewards from Standard Bank. The payment process mirrors that of card payments, complete with 3D-Secure authentication, ensuring your card details remain secure.
3. Discovery Miles
For Discovery members, you can use your Discovery Miles to pay for your Zando order. You’ll be redirected to a secure PayU payment page, where you’ll log into your Discovery Miles account to complete the transaction. If your Discovery Miles don’t cover the full amount, you can pay the balance using a debit or credit card. All transactions are authenticated with an OTP for added security.
4. Payflex
Want to spread out your payments? Payflex is a flexible option that allows you to pay 25% of the purchase price upfront and the remaining balance over six weeks, with zero interest and no additional fees. Your items are shipped immediately, so there’s no waiting around.
Please note: Payflex is not a credit provider. If you miss a payment, default fees may apply, but these are not in the form of interest.
5. Instant EFT
Prefer to pay directly from your bank account? Our Instant EFT option allows you to log into your internet banking profile during the checkout process and authorise the payment securely. This payment method is fully integrated, meaning it’s safe and secure—neither Zando nor our payment providers have access to your banking credentials.
Important: Ensure that you complete the payment within the checkout process. Payments made outside of this will not apply to your order and will require a refund.
6. Capitec Pay
Capitec clients can use Capitec Pay, a convenient option that allows you to approve payments directly through the Capitec app. Simply enter your phone number, ID number, or account number to confirm payment.
A note on refunds: Capitec Pay refunds may take up to 7 to 10 working days to reflect, depending on when Capitec releases the funds.
7. Mobicred
If you’re looking for a longer payment period, Mobicred might be the option for you. It provides a credit facility where you can pay off your purchase over 12 months, with interest. Your items are dispatched immediately, so you can enjoy your purchase while managing your payments.
How to qualify for Mobicred:
- Valid South African ID
- Existing bank account
- Valid email address
- RICA’d mobile number
- 18 years or older
Mobicred refunds take about 10 working days to process.
8. Apple Pay
For those in the Apple ecosystem, Apple Pay is a seamless way to make payments using your iPhone, Apple Watch, iPad, or Mac. It’s a fast, secure, and private payment method that digitises your card transactions.
Refunds: Apple Pay refunds may take 7 to 10 working days to reflect.
9. 1Voucher
If you prefer not to use a bank card, 1Voucher is a great alternative. You can purchase a 1Voucher in-store or online and use it to pay for your Zando order by entering the 16-digit PIN at checkout.

How to Make a Payment at Checkout
- Select Your Payment Option: Choose from Credit/Debit Card, UCount, Discovery Miles, Instant EFT, Payflex, Capitec Pay, Mobicred, Apple Pay, or 1Voucher.
- Apply Vouchers or Coupons: If you have a voucher or promotional coupon, enter the code in the designated box and click ‘Add Voucher.’
- Review Your Order: Before proceeding, double-check your order totals to ensure everything is correct.
- Proceed to Payment: Once you’re satisfied, click ‘Proceed to Payment Page.’ For most methods, you’ll be directed to a secure payment page where you can complete your payment online.
- Complete Payment: Depending on your chosen method, you may need to enter your card details, log into your rewards or bank account, or approve the transaction via an app.
