Eid-Ul-Adha 2018 Fashion Guide

Yup, it’s that time again folks! Eid-Ul-Adha 2019 (aka the ‘second Eid’) will – probably – be celebrated on Tuesday, 12th of August 2018. For those of you who are wondering, this date is uncertain because the actual date is dependent on the sighting of the moon of Dhul Hijjah.

So why do Muslims celebrate Eid twice a year?

Eid-Ul-Adha is a festival celebrated among Muslims all over the world in remembrance of the sacrifice that Prophet Ibrahim (AS) made out of his strong faith in Allah (SWT). It is the second Eid celebration of the year, following from Eid-Ul-Fitr, which took place this past June.

What happens on Eid-Al-Adha?

Simply put; maximum hijabi slayage. On this auspicious occasion, Muslims all over the world are encouraged to don their finest threads. Along with this custom, observers are also encouraged to be mindful of their deeds and share sacrificial meat among friends, family as well as the poor and needy.
