If ever there was a time to get creative with your hair and makeup look, it’s at the Met Gala. For the star-studded event, guests are encouraged to dress to match the Metropolitan Museum of Art’s exhibit. The theme for this year’s event was “Heavenly Bodies: Fashion and the Catholic Imagination.”

The fashion wasnt the only thing we had our eye on at this years Met Gala. See our top hair and makeup moments from the red carpet. Sho the looks we love here: Makeup

Feathery Brows

Rihanna is known to bring it to the Met Gala red carpet, and 2018 was no exception. Rihanna opted for natural brows to let her skin do the talking. The only thing that shined brighter than her papal headpiece was her blinding highlight and popping gloss combo. Anybody say Fenty?

Zendaya’s blunt red bob conjured up images of Joan of Arc — in poppin’ lip gloss and feathery brows that put Instagram brows to shame.

Natural Glow

Emma went with her go-to look of pink blush, rosy lipstick, and arched brows. This is a go-to we’ll never get tired of.

Emily’s updo was completed by leaving out strands to frame her face. Her perfectly bronzed face completed her dripping-in-gold look.

Hailey Baldwin’s cotton-candy hued hair complemented her rose gold lids and pink tinted pout.

Angelic. Bridal. A porcelian doll. There’s no way to quite describe Kate Bosworth’s peaches-and-cream makeup and neatly parted hair do. That might just go to show how much she truly mastered the evening’s theme.

Strong Eyes

Kim K’s Cher-esque do was pulled up into a 1960s ponytail. As always, we’re obsessed with her glam smoky eye and slightly lined lips.

Kendall’s uber straight pony tail made way for her dark grey smokey eye to do all of the talking.

Bold Lips

Olivia Munns gothic blackened berry lipstick was complemented by inner-eye rhinestones and a chainmail headpiece matching her gown.

Amal Clooney wore a bright matte orange-red lipstick and a tousled ponytail. With side swept bangs that framed her face, her look was bold yet feminine.

Hailee also joined the crown-and-dark-red-lipstick brigade. The actress’s daytime smoky eye and contoured lip positively smoldered on the red carpet.
