There’s the 2018 way to wear your actual track pants, and then there’s the denim sweat — the style that’s so baggy you’ll feel immediately at ease (WIN!). Let your denim “sweatpants” just about hit the floor, and show just a hint of your shoe from underneath them.
Ultra Cuff
The ultra cuff can mean a pair of pants folded past the shin, or a contrasted, lighter wash roll. Go big or go home.
Embellished Denim
Invest in in intricate stitching, embroidery, sequin or beaded detail down the leg.
Asymmetrical Denim
High end brands, like Balenciaga, are churning out unconventional designs made to look unbalanced. But you can also go about the look in your own way. If you have a denim jacket, try switching up the buttons or wearing them off the shoulder.
Deconstructed Denim
Deconstructed denim is a bit confusing to look at, especially from far away. Look out for patchwork, obscurely placed rips, and ruffles that don’t quite belong. Really, deconstructed denim just looks “off” (in a good way) — so complete your look with a low-key t-short to draw attention to your eccentric piece.
