Much more effective than you might think!
I was very skeptical about this product, but I needed something to wear with a backless dress. I was pleasantly surprised! They stayed in place all day and provided enough support and lift. They were also not visible from the outside, but my dress is not a particularly tight fit. I'm a B cup and I ordered the L/XL, so they are on the small size, I'm not sure whether they'll be as effective for bigger cup sizes.
