Zando accepts credit card and chipped debit/cheque card payments via Visa and MasterCard only.
How safe is it to use my credit card on your site?
Zando makes use of the 3D-Secure authentication system to verify cardholder details with your bank; this links you directly to your bank via a secure link. The transaction then takes place within your bank’s secure environment and we won’t have access to any of your card details. You can rest assured that your card details will by no means be available to, or accessible by, us or any third parties.
What do I do if my credit card details are not accepted?
The first step is to check with your bank to rule out any problems that may be occurring on that side. If you still experience difficulties, contact our Customer Loyalty Team, and they will alert our IT team to investigate.
We process payment via UCount rewards the same way we do for card payments. The transaction is 3D-Secure and will be authenticated with your pre-selected OTP. You can rest assured that your card details will by no means be available to, or accessible by, us or any third parties.
Pay for your Zando.co.za order using your accumulated Discovery Miles. You will be redirected to a secure PayU payment page where you will need to log into your Discovery Miles profile to redeem your payment.
For your convenience, we are able to process split payment where you may pay any balance after your Discovery Miles have been deducted, using your debit/credit card.
All Discovery Miles transactions processed via PayU and will be authenticated via OTP and your Discovery Miles login.
Pay for your purchase in cash when it is delivered to your door. This payment method is only available for certain postal codes in Cape Town, Durban and Johannesburg.
Payment may only be made in South African rand. Make sure that you have the correct amount of cash ready as our delivery team will not have any change.
Please also note that we do not offer any other handheld payment method on delivery. Your order will only be handed over to you once the full amount has been received by our delivery team. You will not be allowed to try the garment or shoe on before payment.
Should it so happen that you are not available to accept delivery on the first delivery attempt, you will be afforded a second delivery attempt within 1 additional business day of the first attempt, after which your order will be cancelled and returned to our warehouse.
To ensure your safety as well as our delivery team, COD will only be available on orders below R1,500.00 (one thousand five hundred rand).
Pay for your order with our integrated Instant EFT payment option. When selecting our InstantEFT payment option, you are redirected to log into your internet banking profile to complete your EFT payment as part of our checkout process. You can make EFT payments at checkout, directly from your bank account if this feature has been set up on your internet banking profile. You are in control and would need to authorise this transaction by entering your internet banking username and password in a secure browser environment. An OTP will be sent to authorise the payment which may only be completed through the integrated payment step and not as an internet payment via your internet banking or app.
How Secure is it?
Neither Zando nor our payment providers have access to your username, password or OTP; therefore neither can access nor abuse your bank account. Our Instant EFT providers also ensure that they are PCI DSS compliant. This means that they subject their Instant EFT solutions to the highest standards of payments processing compliance. This is to ensure that it is as secure as possible for you to enter your banking username and password in your browser to make an EFT payment.
Please note the following regarding InstantEFT Payment:
- You will not be able to change your payment method after clicking on Proceed to payment.
- You will be redirected to a secure payment page to log on.
- Complete the payment and enter your OTP or accept the bank authentication message to approve.
- Payments completed outside of the checkout transaction cannot be applied to your order after checkout is complete.
As a merchant, we also need to ensure that our web servers, that host our payment platforms and interact with the payment systems, are secure.
We have implemented an SSL certificate and secure servers to ensure that all information entered on our website is encrypted and secure while being sent across the internet. Our website has a secure lock HTTPS:// prefix in the web URL, to show that we have the SSL certificate installed properly.

Select your preferred payment option from the list of available methods:
Credit/Debit Card – you will be routed to a secure payment page to complete your payment online
UCount – you will be routed to a secure payment page to complete your payment online.
Discovery Miles – you will be routed to a secure payment page to complete your payment online.
Cash on Delivery – Only available to certain parts of CPT, DBN and JNB for orders under R1500.
Instant EFT - you will be routed to a secure payment page to complete your payment as part of the checkout process.
You may apply avoucher or promotional couponto your order at this point. Enter the code in the text box and click ADD VOUCHER to apply.
Review the order totals before clicking PROCEED TO PAYMENT PAGE, this confirms your order and you will not be able to go back and update or amend your order.
Once you click on PROCEED TO PAYMENT PAGE for Card or UCount payment, you will be routed to a secure payment page where you will need to follow these steps to complete payment:
- Capture your card details for payment or select your saved card details and click PAY NOW
Follow the prompts to perform 3D Secure authentication:
- Either complete your details to receive an OTP from your bank and then enter the OTP or
- Authorise the transaction via your app or phone, depending on your bank preference.
Once you are logged into your profile, you will be able to access the My Account clicking on the Account icon option at the bottom of the home screen on the Mobile App, or at the top right corner on the mobile website.
Clicking on the Account icon will open theAccount Overview page where you will be able to access your account details, address book, newsletter preferences as well as the option to request a password reset link if necessary.
Select the My Orders tab to access your order history which includes a list of your open (successful) and closed (unsuccessful) Orders.
Once your products have been delivered, you will be able to rate and review them by clicking on the Pending Reviews tab on the left-hand side of your screen.
‘Zando credit’ is only available on the mobile and desktop website
All your available Zando credit details linked to your account will be displayed under the ‘Zando Credit’tab. Please note that this view is only visible on our website and is not yet available on our app. You will also receive all vouchers via email on the date of issue
To ensure that you can apply your voucher code to your order successfully, we suggest that you copy it from here and paste it on the checkout page. It’s currently only possible to apply 1 voucher or coupon per order.

Address book will allow you to add a new delivery address, edit any of your saved addresses and select your default address.
To change your current Zando password, simply select the Reset / Change Password option, enter the necessary information and click submit.
The last tab you will see on the left-hand side of your screen under My Account is Newsletter Preferences.This allows you to subscribe or unsubscribe to our newsletter which ensures that you are always notified of the latest deals and offers.
