As you are aware, there is growing concern and uncertainty following the outbreak and rapid spread of Coronavirus (COVID-19) across the country and the world. takes this very seriously and we wanted to update you on the measures we've taken to stop the potential spread of Coronavirus without impacting your shopping or delivery experience.

As a business, we have adopted various measures introduced by our international partners and following the W.H.O guidelines to prevent the spread of infection:

At our warehouse, we have installed hand sanitiser stations in all key entry and exit points, including reception/security areas.

Our drivers and van assistants have been provided with hand sanitisers, which they are required to use before and after every delivery.

If you would like to limit your physical contact even more, please use our credit card and chipped debit/cheque card option.
All card transactions make use of the 3D-Secure authentication system to verify cardholder details with your bank;
this links you directly to your bank via a secure link.
You can rest assured that your card details will by no means be available to, or accessible by, us or any third parties.

We've implemented a contactless delivery process. What this means is that there will be no physical contact between delivery courier and receiver.

How will this be done?
The driver will ring the doorbell or intercom and announce they are from
The driver will indicate they are to place the package on a designated area, table or at the front of the door at the request of the customer
The driver will then step back and wait for the customer to collect the package
The customer does not have to sign for the package as before – the driver will ask for the name of receiver for our records

As this is a rapidly developing situation, with constant updates and changes, we will continue to monitor the situation closely and introduce additional protocols if/when it becomes necessary to ensure the health and safety of our people and our customers.

We will only accept prepayment methods (credit/debit cards) as well as COD for orders.

We now offer Cash On Delivery (COD) to certain parts of Cape Town, Johannesburg and Durban but will need to adhere to strict guidelines as per COVID-19 regulations:

To ensure the safety for you as well as our delivery team, COD will only be available on orders below R1,500.00

You will receive an SMS on the day of your delivery, confirming that delivery will happen. Please ensure that somebody is available to receive and pay for your order

If you are not available to accept delivery on the first delivery attempt, we may make a second delivery attempt within 1 additional business day of the first attempt, after which your order will be cancelled and returned to our warehouse

To limit the amount of contact, our drivers will not have change for you and we ask that you please have the exact amount ready to pay for your delivery. Please note that our drivers do not have another form of contactless payment and will only accept cash from you

For safety reasons, we cannot allow you to open the parcel and only accept some items and send back the rest. You will be required to pay for the full delivery and then request a return for items you no longer want

In humans, several Coronaviruses are known to cause respiratory infections ranging from the common cold and severe diseases like Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome (SARS). The most recently discovered Coronavirus causes Coronavirus COVID-19.

How do I prevent it?

Wash your hands properly for up to 20 seconds. Maintain personal hygiene. Cover your nose and mouth when coughing or sneezing or use a tissue. Avoid spitting in public. Be informed of the latest information on the Coronavirus COVID-19 outbreak, available on the WHO website and the Ministry of Health.

What does the World Health Organization (WHO) say?

   - If you have cold/flu symptoms, opt to self-quarantine
   - If you have a cough/fever, make sure you go to the hospital
   - If you have breathing difficulties, treat this as an emergency

Who is at risk?

While we are still learning about how the Coronavirus (COVID-19) affects people, older people and people with pre-existing medical conditions (such as high blood pressure, heart disease, lung disease, cancer or diabetes) appear to develop serious illness more often than others.

Should I wear a mask to protect myself?

Only wear a mask if you are ill with Coronavirus (COVID-19) symptoms (especially coughing) or looking after someone who may have Coronavirus (COVID-19). A disposable face mask can only be used once. If you are not ill or looking after someone who is ill then you are wasting a mask. There is a world-wide shortage of masks, so WHO urges people to use masks wisely.
